Recommended Reading: Becoming a Supple Leopard

The basic idea is that you as an athlete should know how to work on your body yourself. Most of the issues people see the physical therapist for are preventable if you move correctly and are consistent with your regular maintenance. Becoming a Supple Leopard is now a standard for movement, so much so that it is required reading in some undergraduate kinesiology courses. But, it’s certainly written at an accessible level complete with tons of pictures detailing the correct and incorrect ways to move and do basic upkeep on your athletic body.
